World-Class Resources

The Singh Center provides easy access to high-performance equipment for nanotechnology research, including electron and scanning probe microscopy, traditional micro- and nanofabrication equipment, electron beam lithography, soft lithography and laser micromachining, and multiscale 3D printing.

Combining these critical resources with expert faculty and staff fosters the exchange of scientific ideas and provides intersecting capabilities that lead to next-generation thinking. Traditional deposition and patterning fabrication tools are augmented by critical cutting-edge technologies, including a soft lithography and laser machining laboratory for microfluidics and medical device fabrication, micro- and nanomolding, multiscale 3-D printing capability, and diverse laboratories with multiple characterization and measurement capability based on electron beams, ion beams, scanning probes, and cryogenic and magnetic fields.
